I believe in functional training that helps you get stronger and live better every day lives.
Hi, my name is Sara and I grew up in Reisterstown, Maryland. I played softball & field hockey competitively throughout my childhood into my adulthood. After graduating from Towson University with a B.S. in Exercise Science, I started my internship with Elevation Corporate Health. It's now been close to 15 years with the same company and 12 years here at the Denton A. Cooley Center. My other passions are animals (especially my 2 dogs & 1 cat), eating out, cooking, watching awesome movies or TV, dancing, hiking or any other outdoor activities.

My love for fitness started with wrestling and track & field. Since then, I have participated in organized sports for over 24 years, which ultimately led me to personal training (started in 2012). My passion lies in functional training, corrective exercise and helping my clients create a healthy balance of fitness & nutrition. I believe good habits are cultivated through moderate consumption and setting realistic goals.

"Keep it simple. It doesn't have to be hard to be effective"
Homegrown in Baltimore, MD. As a former professional model, I got into fitness to help maintain my size and adapt my look for different roles. As I started to learn more about the health and fitness field, I found I had a real affinity for a job in the industry. Playing sports at Cooley, basketball, racquetball & squash, helped me to find my footing and my passion for competition & coaching. When I'm not at work, you'll find me listening to music, watching movies & shopping (finding great deals).

Hard work + dedication = success
As a fellow East Baltimorean, I grew up playing a variety of sports: basketball, football, racquetball, track & field. Because of my love of sports, I landed at the Cooley Center at the age of 14; where I found myself spending a majority of my time. My background in sports led me to find my passion for fitness and helping people. As a lifetime member of the Cooley Center, I know the history and people that make this place so special; which gives me the expertise in customer service. When I’m not at Cooley, you’ll find me coaching youth basketball and football. My family keeps me busy and focused in my spare time.

“Do not count the days, make the days count.”
I believe that everyone has the potential, but it’s a matter of recognizing your inner strength to fuel your drive.
Homegrown from Parkville, Maryland. Fitness has always been a huge aspect of my life. I grew up basically on the softball diamond, field hockey field, and basketball court. My involvement with sports inspired me to go on and study Exercise Science in college. I received my Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Salisbury University. Post-graduation I worked for a few physical therapy clinics and gained experience working with a wide range of demographics.
Recently, I decided to delve more into the fitness field because I love motivating others to better themselves. I want to be along for the journey with you in creating a healthy lifestyle. In discovering your healthy lifestyle, I believe you must find the balance of healthy eating, exercising, and relaxation that works best for you. Outside of Cooley, you’ll find me trying new recipes, baking, hiking, dancing, traveling, kayaking or anything that gets me outside.
