Eligibility

All “students” and “employees” within JHMI are eligible. Including employees of JHH, JHU, KKI, Broadway Services and contractors issued a JHMI ID badge.

Guest Policy

​

All members must purchase a “Guest Pass” to bring a guest into the facility. All members are allowed to bring one guest at a time. All members must be present for guest to remain in the facility. Log into your portal account to invite your guest & purchase a $5 guest pass. The guest is connected to the member via Household. A guest pass must be purchased for each visit to the Cooley Center. *Dependent children must be between the ages of 14-21. No one under 14 is admitted into the facility – no exceptions!

All students and staff affiliated with JHMI are allowed six guest visits (only the first entrance is free, the following five visits are $5 each visit in a calendar year). A Guest Waiver must be signed. After the six visits, the JHMI affiliate must sign up for a membership or wait to visit in the next calendar year.

Spouse and Family Memberships

Memberships are extended to spouses and dependent children only. Proof of residency may be required, and children must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Student & Housestaff/Resisdent membership: Family/Partner Student membership $5
Non Subsidized Student membership: Non Subsidized Student membership $10
Employee & Payroll Deduction Membership: General membership $36

Spouse/Family membership is month to month with a debit or credit charged. Cancelation required in written form via website form.

**Family “Households” are allowed up to 4 members per family.

Special Cases : Hospital Patients / Relatives

​

Hospital patients and relatives may use the Cooley Center following these guidelines: Patients must supply letterhead documentation from the attending physician’s office. The letter serves as a physician’s referral that states he/she may exercise in an unlimited fashion, without supervision and does not pose a threat to another member’s safety.
